Muhu Museum

The museum in the village of Koguva, on the Muhu island, is centred around a series of traditional farm buildings. Most are from the late 19th and early 20th centuries but the oldest storehouse is from the early 19th century.

The museum began as a memorial for the writer Juhan Smuul. The buildings exhibits the equipment and utensils necessary for working and living on the farm. The museum is only a part of Koguva village, the rest of which has very similar buildings and is a museum piece in itself.
